It all began with a family trip to Thailand. In 2018 the Jaworski Family went to Thailand and met a monk who stated “all life is suffering, what are you going to do about it?” This notion was nothing new but stuck out and became more significant once Dan Jaworski was diagnosed with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) consistent with Early Onset Alzheimer’s in 2019, less than one year after their trip. Since then, Dan has raised countless dollars for the Alzheimer’s Association and other non-profits in the Alzheimer’s space. Dan and his Daughter, Elsa, decided they wanted to give back to this community in a way that felt authentic and educational and thus Cowboy Monk was formed.
